‘Growing Pains’, title song that contains the sad feeling after a farewell
The title song, ‘Growing Pains’, is a medium tempo song that mixed electric guitar and acoustic guitar well with the signature melody of piano, and the lyric depicts a man who wishes that his love does not feel hurt as much as he does after the break-up. Since DONGHAE personally participated in creating the lyric and the music, this song will definitely present the unique sensitivity of SUPER JUNIOR-D&E.
‘Mother’ is an R&B ballad composed by DONGHAE and Team One Sound, and the lyric impressively renders the thankfulness to the mother’s love in the form of a letter. The gospel-like mood in the chorus in the second half of the song calmly describes the intense heart of love.
‘The Beat Goes On’, the work of The Underdogs, the world-renowned producing team, is an uptempo EDM with intensive drum and synth sounds, and ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ by NoizeBank, the team of composers formed by SUPER JUNIOR-M’s HENRY, is an EDM with an interesting lyric that describes the heart that fell in love in a variety of ways using expressions that would have been used in film making.
This album also contains ‘Sweater & Jeans’ with the interesting lyric that compares the love with a longtime lover to the sweater and blue jean that became comfortable after long wearing, ‘Breaking Up’, a medium tempo song with various prominent reed sounds, and ‘Can You Feel It?’, a disco funky track that brings the delightful energy of SUPER JUNIOR-D&E, and all 7 songs are expected to win favorable responses from fans.
