This album is the new album of M&D, being released in 3 years and 10 months after the last digital single, ‘Close Ur Mouth’ released in June, 2011. The album lists a total of 6 songs in various genres, written, composed, and arranged by two members, and like the name of the album, the members fully participated in the making of the album on ‘D.I.Y.’ theme including the jacket design and M/V directing to present unique characteristics and well-roundedness of M&D once again.

‘I Wish’, a cheerful title track telling anautobiographical story of HEECHUL

The title song, ‘I Wish’ gives a rhythmical and exciting big band sound that suggests swing music and the ear-catching melodies that anyone can easily sing along. X-Mas composed and arranged the song, and HEECHUL wrote the lyric, which is about lookingback at his younger days as a free spirit and telling a wish that he wants to find a true love now.

The first track announcing the beginning of this album, ‘Midnight & Dawn’, is a retro Eurobeat dance music telling about how M&D was created and the great passion and belief of the two members. ‘Moon Crystal’ is an authentic rock ballad with an imposing orchestra sound and a charming guitar sound, and the lyric that poetically alludes the bygone love to the moon leaves a lingering impression.

’Silhouette’ is a medium tempo rock song rendered in a dreamy mood that sings about the shock and sorrow that a man had after seeing the hidden side of his lover, and ‘Soul’ is the first collabortaion of the two members which was previously presented through ‘SUPER SHOW 2’ in 2009, and it is a bosa nova with a charming acoustic guitar sound with an impressive lyric that depicts a dramatic story where the soul of a man who died in an accident on his way to meet his lover sending a message to her.

The album also includes ‘Close Ur Mouth’, a retro style disco rock song that was released as the first digital single in 2011 and announced the birth of M&D. All 6 songs will present the unique sensibility and music world of M&D in all aspects.
