Releases Deluxe Edition of Her First Studio Album ‘My Voice’ on April 5th!
A total of 17 full tracks includes 3 new songs and ’11:11’
KPOP’s one and only songstress, TAEYEON, is releasing a deluxe edition of her first studio album ‘My Voice’ on April 5th.
TAEYEON will be releasing the full tracklist of her deluxe edition album ‘My Voice’ on various music sites at noon on April 5th. Filled with TAEYEON’s unique vocal tunes and sensibility, anticipation for her new album is already building.
The new deluxe edition will add four new tracks from her original studio album, including the opening track ‘Make Me Love You’, along with her most beloved 2016 hit single ’11:11’. With a total of seventeen songs in various generes, TAEYEON will be delivering flourishing music world of hers.
TAEYEON’s first studio album ‘My Voice’ had swept various music charts since its release last February. Her album had placed first on iTunes Charts for albums, first on Gaon Digital Music Chart for two consecutive weeks, and topped all of eight local Korean music charts and music programs with her song ‘Fine’. As one of the top female solo artist, TAEYEON’s new songs from the deluxe edition are expected to send her back to the top of the charts.
Pop R&B Title Track ‘Make Me Love You’ is Mystical!
With a blend of serene tunes of pop R&B and TAEYEON’s soulful vocals, ‘Make Me Love You’ opens up the album with a mystical mood that is perfect for spring. The song is already expected to win the hearts of her fans worldwide.
In addition to the title track, the deluxe edition also includes ‘I Blame on You’, a tale of a heartbroken woman awaiting and yearning for her past lover. To go along with the lyrics, the pop ballad song was arranged minimally with heart-tugging string instruments and piano melody. Finally, ‘Curtain Call’ offers the perfect grand finale to her album as TAEYEON leaves the listeners with lingering emotions when she sings the last longing words and melody that comes to an end.
The deluxe edition includes her alternative pop ‘Fine’ which was the title track from her first studio album, and urban R&B track ‘I Got Love’ which was pre-released through her music video teaser. Other songs include ‘Cover Up’, filled with loving and sweet lyrics, ‘I’m Okay’, enriched with jazzy sounds of brass, electronic guitar and drums, and ‘Time Lapse’ that was produced specifically for TAEYEON by NELL’s vocalist Kim Jong Wan. The album also includes ‘Sweet Love’ that showcases TAEYEON’s unlimited potential, which is heightening her fans’ expectations of her songs.
On top of the songs mentioned above, the deluxe edition includes more tracks from her first studio album: ‘When I Was Young’ that sings out nostalgic lyrics, trendy PB R&B ‘Lonely Night’, and ‘Love in Color’ which is the only acoustic piano solo in the album. TAEYEON’s experimentation of new genres can also be explored in the song ‘Fire’ and discover how pop R&B meets swing music within the song ‘Eraser’. TAEYEON also specially added a bonus track, ‘The Time of Walking on Remembrance’, in the CD just for her fans. With the addition of the songs from her first studio album, a total of seventeen tracks will be offered in her much anticipated deluxe edition.
The deluxe edition of TAEYEON’s first studio album ‘My Voice’ will be released online and in stores on April 5th.
