Lyrical Spring Song, ‘Paper Umbrella’, Shows YESUNG’s Signature Ballad

The album opens up with, ‘Paper Umbrella’, a lyrical ballad with delicate piano tunes and strings, but with a bold arrangement that brings out YESUNG’s powerful yet soft vocals. The song is about a heartbroken soul, who tries to avoid the rain of memories with his paper umbrella, but fails miserably as the umbrella absorbs the memories. The music and the lyrics of ‘Paper Umbrella’ will definitely pull the heartstrings of the listeners.

Fans are more than excited to find two songs written by YESUNG listed in this album. The first original song, ‘At the Time’ (ft. KYUHYUN) is a mid-tempo ballad that reminisces the memories of a past love. The harmony created by YESUNG and KYUHYUN together makes the song even sweeter. ‘So Close Yet So Far’ was first performed at his solo concert last year. The song was praised for YESUNG’s sad singing that fully conveyed the emotions of fear that love may vanish suddenly like popped bubbles.
