Super Junior-M’s First Album, ‘迷(Me)’, Release in Korea on April 30!
With Special Addition of 3 Songs in Korean Version!
Super Junior’s new unit, ‘Super Junior-M’(S.M. Entertainment)’s first album, ‘迷(Me)’, will be released in Korea on the 30th.
Super Junior-M is comprised of Chinese and Korean members, and it is the first group produced by Korea’s CT (Culture Technology) and officially debuted in local Chinese music market. The group was created to become the top rating stars in Greater China through comprehensive localization strategy. Also, the group has the ambition to rule the music world of the Greater China as much as the letter “M” in Super Junior-M implies the standard language of China, Mandarin.
Super Junior-M made the official debut in China through the 음악 풍운방 Award Ceremony on April 8, and the group is now getting great attention from local music fans of China and increasing its influence in the Chinese music market. The first album, ‘迷(Me)’, was ranked in the first place on the record reservation chart at Chinese Amazon (www.amazon.cn) even before the official release on the 22nd.
This album contains 12 jewel like songs including the Chinese version of Super Junior’s hit songs that enjoyed enormous popularity in Asia and Korea such as ‘U’, ‘Don’t Don’, ‘Marry U’, and ‘Full of Happiness’, the song that wishes for the success of Beijing Olympics 2008, ‘The One’, and 5 new songs including ‘迷(Me)’ and ‘爱你爱你 (Love Song)’ as well as the remake, ‘至少还有你’, and for Korean fans, they also added the Korean version of 3 songs, ‘迷(Me)’, ‘爱你爱你(Love Song)’ and ‘至少还有你 (Zhi Shao Hai You Ni)’ that it is expected to bring great responses from the fans.
The Title Song ‘U’ – New Chinese Version with New Feeling
The title song of the first album of Super Junior-M, ‘U’, is the Chinese version of Super Junior’s hit song, ‘U’ In the new Chinese version, the hit song maker, Yoo, Young-Jin, gave much more powerful feeling than the original version through the new arrangement that fans can enjoy different charms of the song.
The song with the same title as the album, ‘迷(Me)’, is an exhilarating modern rock style dance music. The refreshing rhythm from the acoustic guitar running along with the sweet melody brings happiness to the listeners. Zhoumi displayed his wonderful skills in writing lyrics by writing the lyric for the medium tempo dance music with lovely and bright melody, 爱你爱你 (Love Song) and the lyric for the Chinese version of Miracle and MARRY U.
‘至少还有你’ Recreated in Super Junior-M’s Unique Style
This album also includes ‘至少还有你(Zhi Shao Hai You Ni)’, a hit song of a popular star in Greater China, Sandy Lam, remade in Super Junior-M’s unique style. ‘至少还有你(Zhi Shao Hai You Ni)’ was released in 1999 and it enjoyed great popularity in China and also in all of Greater China. The song was recreated through elegant arrangement and the beautiful harmony of Super Junior-M and it is getting great popularity in China with the title song ‘U.’
‘The One’ – Wishing for the Success of Beijing Olympics 2008
Super Junior-M sings ‘The One’ wishing for the success of Beijing Olympics 2008. It is a ballad with impressive, magnificent and rich chorus with the great solo violin performance of Henry. Especially, Han Geng was selected as the torch bearer to carry the Olympics flame that this song gave even more special meaning to Han Geng as well as other members of Super Junior-M.
This album also contains songs of many different styles such as 我抱着我(In my Arms) with impressive dreamlike melody and ‘這一秒 (THE MOMENT)’ with the splendid strings and it will be available to fans in Asia as it will be released in Taiwan and Thailand in the beginning of May.
