The SMTOWN APP will be updated with a new look on September 6, 2023.

From checking artist schedules to saving digital passport stamps, managing my LIGHT STICK, and playing AR content!
Now you can enjoy the features you need to your fan activities quickly and easily with the single touch on the HOME screen.
Stay tuned for expansion of SMTOWN services in the future.

* From September 6, please use the updated version (v4.0.0) of the SMTOWN APP.
Older versions of the APP do not support new features.
* With the APP update, we will terminate some APP services transferred to SMTOWN.

[Existing APP Termination Schedule and Changes of Major Services]
META-PASSPORT
- The META-PASSPORT service ended on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 23:59:59 (KST).
The SMTOWN APP has been issuing stamps since August 4, 2023, and as previously announced, you can find the stamps issued from the META-PASSPORT service and the digitally converted PINK PASSPORT stamps on the SMTOWN APP.
SMTOWN AR
- SMTOWN AR VIEWER APP service is scheduled to end sometime in 2023.
Please check the notice later for more information.
And you can still play and save AR content in the new 'SMTOWN' APP.
You can also view all of your existing AR content.
KWANGYA CLUB
- The community service will be terminated on Monday, September 11, at 23:59:59 (KST).
The SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB platform will be changed to 'Weverse' from Tuesday, September 12.
For details related to the change of the fan club platform, please check the announcement of KWANGYA CLUB for each artist.

SM 엔터테인먼트입니다.
소속 아티스트에게 심각한 수준의 사생활 침해 및 명예훼손 등 불법행위가 계속되고 있어, 그에 관한 당사의 입장을 말씀 드립니다.
당사는 현재 팬들의 협조 및 내부 모니터링을 통하여, 포털사이트, SNS, 커뮤니티 등 온라인상 아티스트에 관한 악의적인 비방, 악성 루머 등을 게시∙유포하여 아티스트의 명예를 훼손하거나 모욕하는 행위 등에 대해 형사고소를 진행하며 강력히 대응해 나가고 있습니다.
소속 아티스트에 대한 소위 “사생”의 과도한 사생활 침해 행위 역시, 더 이상 묵과하지 않고, 엄중히 대처해 나갈 예정입니다.
“(사생)택시”를 이용해 장기간에 걸쳐 계속 아티스트를 따라다니거나 군 복무중인 아티스트의 복무장소 출퇴근을 따라다니는 행위, 거주지를 알아내어 실내 또는 주차장 등에 침입하거나, 발신인을 알 수 없는 방법으로 일방적으로 택배물품을 보내는 등 “사생”의 무분별한 스토킹행위로 인해, 아티스트는 물론 그 가족, 지인, 이웃 등 주변 사람들까지 정신적∙물질적으로 심각한 피해를 입고 있습니다.
이러한 행위는 애정어린 팬심의 표현이 아니라, 아티스트 등의 사생활을 침해하는 위법한 행위이자 명백한 범죄행위입니다. 최근 제정된 『스토킹범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 법률』에 따라 ‘징역형’으로 형사처벌도 받을 수 있습니다.
당사는 소속 아티스트를 보호하기 위해, 그 동안 “사생”에 대해 견지해 왔던 관용적인 태도를 버리고, 선처나 합의 없이, 단호하고 강력하게 법적 대응을 해 나갈 것입니다. 이미 CCTV 및 차량 블랙박스 영상, 사진/동영상 촬영물, 통신기록, 우편물, e-mail 등 관련 증거자료를 상당수 확보하고 있고, 앞으로도 관련 증거들을 계속 확보해 나갈 것이며, 이를 근거로 형사고소는 물론 정신적∙재산적 손해배상을 청구하는 등 민∙형사상 가능한 모든 법적조치를 취할 예정입니다.

당사는 소속 아티스트에 대한 각종 불법행위와 관련하여, 국내 최고의 대형 법률사무소/법무법인 및 분야별 전문 법무법인 등 10개 이상의 로펌에 의뢰, 이에 따라 적발된 불법행위에 대해서는 강력한 민/형사상 법적 조치를 진행하고 있습니다.
최근에도 당사 소속 아티스트와 관련해 온라인 커뮤니티, SNS, 포털사이트 등에 악성 루머, 악의적인 게재글/댓글, 명예훼손 및 인격 모독 게시물 등이 무분별하게 게재 및 유포되어, 더욱 강력한 법적 대응을 의뢰한 상황입니다.
사실이 아닌, 근거 없는 내용을 조작해 악성 루머를 만들고, 확인되지 않은 사실을 기반으로 인격 모독 및 명예 훼손에 해당하는 글 등을 게재하는 것뿐 아니라, 이와 같은 루머를 유포하는 행위 역시 명백한 불법행위이며, 강력한 법적 조치의 대상임을 알려드립니다. 불미스러운 일에 연루되지 않도록 주의 부탁드립니다.
더불어 2017년 12월 오픈한 당사의 제보 메일계정(protect@smtown.com)에는 하루에도 수 천여 건의 제보가 접수되고 있으며, 이를 당사가 모두 일일이 확인하고 불법행위임이 명확한 사안들에 대해 별도 분류하여, 해당 아티스트와 협의를 거쳐 수시로 고소를 진행하고 있습니다.
지속적으로 방대한 양의 악의적인 포스팅과 근거 없는 루머가 게재되고 있는 상황에서, 당사는 자체적인 모니터링과 팬 여러분의 제보, 국내외 플랫폼 및 포털사이트 등의 도움을 바탕으로, 불법행위 사실 및 그 행위자를 확인하고 있으며, 범죄 사실이 확정되어 다수의 유죄 판결이 내려지는 등 현재도 여러 사안에 대한 법적 대응을 진행 중입니다.
당사는 앞으로도 소속 아티스트의 인격과 권리, 명예 보호는 물론 아티스트로서의 눈부신 성장과 발전, 활발한 활동을 위해 더욱 세심하게 지원하며, 최선의 노력을 다하겠습니다.

또한 각종 불법행위에 대해서는 지금까지와 마찬가지로 형사상 법적 조치를 취하는 등 강경히 대응해 나갈 것을 다시 한번 말씀드립니다.
